COVID 19 Level 2 Restrictions are now in place!- Level 2 Continues.....
We are very lucky to be able to have games this weekend, but in doing so we are required to follow guidelines set by Halswell Wigram and signed off by CRFU. All games are to have only one supporter per player at the ground. (up to under 18, including UC Cup matches, all other games are to have no spectators). Social distancing to be adhered to for those at the ground. Contact tracing will be done via the iDME app, used across all sports in Canterbury or a manual tracing sheet to be at the ground. Coaches and managers will be required to note who they have at the ground also. This information will be fed back to the club. Coaches and Managers will have to wash gear between games/practises. Teams and players will have to leave the grounds immediately after games to allow for other teams to use grounds. Ideally, all players are to be dropped off to practise, they will have to bring their own drink bottles (absolutely no sharing). We know this is a lot to take in and abide by, but the alternative is NO RUGBY!. We will be monitoring all teams, so please don't be the one that ruins all the fun for all the other teams!.
